Parking in Iso Omena

You will always find a place for your car in the Iso Omena car park. You can park in three different areas. Read more about parking and how to get there at the bottom of this page.

We use Aimo Park's barrier-free parking system, which allows you to drive in and out without stopping.
The system is based on automatic number plate recognition. As you drive in or out, a camera recognises your number plate and the parking time is determined based on the actual time you spend at Iso Omena.

Registered customers can take advantage of the free parking offer by registering with the Aimo Park parking form and using the Taskuparkki app. All our customers have two (2) hours of free parking per day. For our registered customers we offer an additional one (1) hour free.

Activate your parking advantage:
• Register using the parking form on the Aimo Park website.
• Download the Aimo Park Taskuparkki app from the App Store or Google Play.
• Click Register and fill in all the required information. Use the same email address as in the parking form.
• Click My details. Add your payment card and vehicle and activate the handy camera detection.
• You are now ready to start using the parking advantage. You will receive one (1) extra hour of free parking - a total of 2+1 hours of free parking!

If you are already a Taskuparkki user, you can activate the benefit here:
• Register using the parking form on the Aimo Park website using the same email address you use in your Taskuparkki account. 
• You can check the address in the My Details section of the app.
• You are now ready to start using the parking service. You will receive one (1) extra hour of free parking - a total of 2+1 hours of free parking!
Top tip! Once the benefit is activated, you will see the Iso Omena logo in the Taskuparkki app menu!

Pricing and payment
We offer all our customers 2 hours of free parking per day. After that, the parking fee is €2,20/charged hour, rounded up to the next full hour. You can pay for your parking at the machines, with the Taskuparkki mobile app, on the Aimo Park website or with a paper invoice. Please note that there is a €5 invoicing fee for a paper invoice. You can pay for your parking within 48 hours of leaving the car park at www.aimopark.fi/easy.

If you have not used your free parking time, you do not need to go to the payment machine.

HSL Park & Ride
Our Park & Ride car park is for commuters. It is located on level P3A. It can be accessed via the Piispansilta and Suomenlahdentie entrances, from where you can follow the 'P+Metro' signs to the right level. The parking fee is €2 for 12 hours. Parking over 12 hours will be charged according to the standard price list.

When you park your car at the Park & Ride, you must swipe your travel card at the HSL travel card reader next to the payment machine and then enter the registration number of your car at the payment machine. If your stay is longer than 12 hours, remember to use the pay machine when you leave the car park.

The metro station can be accessed via the bus terminal level.

If you have downloaded the Taskuparkki app, remember to switch off the automatic number plate recognition function, otherwise the system will charge you the standard parking fee.

Electric car charging points
Electric car charging points are located on parking levels P1-P3. In addition to Iso Omena's own 18 chargers, level P1 has four K Charge charging points. The chargers are located on either side of the entrance to the car wash. In addition to the standard 22kW (Type 2) chargers, the larger charging area has two Helen 50kW fast chargers. The shopping centre's own chargers are connected to the Virta network.

P2A contains two shopping centre chargers and 10 Park & Ride bays are equipped with HSL chargers.

Parking for Finnkino Iso Omena customers
We offer all Finnkino customers three (3) more hours of free parking in addition to the 2+1 benefit - So a total of 5+1 hours of free parking!
You can claim the benefit with the device on the 2nd floor of Finnkino. Tell the device the registration number and whether you have parked in the P-building (sloped floor) or in the parking garage (P1A, P2A, P1B).

Parking for Iso Omena Elixia's early morning customers
Elixia customers who want to start their day with a workout can park their cars in the P1 car park by the Markkinakatu entrance from 5 am. From the car park you can take the lift to the 2nd floor. You can leave the car park until 00.30.

Disabled parking
We offer free parking for 6 hours to customers with a disabled parking permit. The parking fee is refunded at the Iso Omena and Service Centre Info Points on the basis of the car's registration number. Free parking is activated by showing a copy of the disabled parking permit and an identification card, so please activate the parking upon your arrival at Iso Omena.

Parking for motorcycles
Motorcycle parking is available in all parking areas.

Car parks
Parking is available in the P-talo, P1A-P3A and P1B car parks. You can access these areas from any of the entrances.

Our car parks have the following height restrictions for vehicles: P1A: 2.4 m, P1B: 2.3 m and P-talo: 2.0 m.

P-TALO
P-talo is the central car park and has lifts to the shopping levels. The lifts take you to the area around the Iso Omena information point and Zara.

The easiest way to get to P-talo is through its own entrance on Markkinakatu or by driving straight from the Piispansilta entrance.
We recommend parking at P-talo during rush hours.

P1A-P3A
The P1A-P3A car parks offer parking on three levels (-1, -2 & -3). The HSL Park & Ride is located on the lowest level, P3A.

P3A offers the easiest access to Iso Omena bus and metro stations, Finnkino cinema, Iso Omena service centre and M.E.E.T restaurant services.

Arriving from Suomenlahdentie: You can enter the car park from either direction via the roundabout. Drive down the ramp and exit the roundabout to the car park. The P1A-P3A area is on the right.

Arriving from Piispansilta: Drive down the ramp at the entrance and turn left.

From Markkinakatu: Drive down the ramp on Markkinakatu and turn right. You can access the P1A-P3A area by driving along the car park wall.

P1B
The central entrance to the P1B car park provides easy access to the hypermarkets. This car park also has the entrances to the A, B and C service and office buildings and the collection point for Prisma supermarket's online shop.

Arriving from Suomenlahdentie: Drive straight on from the roundabout after the Suomenlahdentie ramp.

Arriving from Piispansilta: Drive down the ramp and turn right.

From Markkinakatu: Drive down the ramp and turn right. The Markkinakatu entrance leads directly to the P1B area. The Prisma online shop pick-up point is on the right.
